SEND

SEND

'A child or young person has SEN if they have a learning difficulty or disability which calls for special educational provision to be made that is additional to or different from that made generally for other children or young people of the same age' (SEND Code of Practice)

At Maybury Primary School we recognise that all children are entitled to a quality of provision that will enable them to achieve their potential.  We believe in positive intervention, removing barriers to learning, raising expectations and levels of achievement and working in partnership with other agencies in order to provide a positive educational experience for all our pupils, including those with a special educational need or disability.

Our SEND Co-ordinator is Miss J Stowell

Miss Stowell can be contacted via telephone on 01482 701387 or by emailing admin@maybury.het.academy

What is a local offer?

The local offer provides information on what services children, young people and their families can expect from a range of local agencies, including education, health and social care.  Knowing what is out there gives you more choice and therefore more control over what support is right for your child.
