Children stay at school over the lunchtime period.  During this time they have a set time to go to the restaurant to eat their dinner and a set time for an outdoor break.  Children attend for two substantive daily school sessions each day.

The school day currently runs from 8:40am to 3:10pm for children in Foundation 2 up to Year 6, which means that the school is open to pupils for 6 hours and 30 minutes per day. Maybury provides 32.5 hours per week of schooling.  This meets government minimum expectation of 32.5 hours per week.
